He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burchett and Telia Cook Burchett; and his siblings, Louise Boyd, Lorene Slone, Ruth Ann Davis, Phyllis Ousley, Mermon Burchett and Otis Burchett.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Holt Burchett; his daughters, Angelia Burchett Parsons (John) of Bellefontaine, OH and Renee Burchett of Anderson, IN.; and his grandsons, Jonathan and Ben Parsons.
