He was predeceased by: his parent Drs; and his brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ingram Lyon; his sons, Chris, Tom (Katie) and Dalton (Sally); his grandchildren, Emma, Walker, Margaret, Courtney, Lucy and Ann Carter; and his sister-in-law Linda Lyon.

Donations are suggested to Tates Creek Presbyterian Church, Bible Study Fellowship, or the Bluegrass Parkinson's Alliance.
