He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon D. Holbrook Sr. and Nevelyn Cordle Holbrook; his siblings, Lawrence "Little Buddy" Holbrook and Pam Pohlman (Bob); and his brother-in-law Darryl Jackson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vernon "Biff" Holbrook Jr. (Johnda) of Ashland and Crystal Holbrook Jackson of Ashland; his close friend Brian Thompson; and his nieces, Samantha Pohlman (Mike), Kim Pohlman, Mandy Jackson Kidwell, Jessica Holbrook Kersey and Chrissy Holbrook Copley. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and his dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Homes - Central Ave Chapel (1501 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101.
