He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene and Nan Chaffin Church; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Hunt and Ray Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hunt Church of Ashland; his children, Bryan Church of Ashland and Ashley Church of Lexington; his granddaughter Emily Church; and his sisters, Janet Sue Walker (Jerry) of Summit and Joanna Robbins of Ashland.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Caniff Funeral Home (528 Wheatley Rd, Ashland, KY 41101).
