He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Lucas and Dorothy Lucas (Porter); his siblings, Nick Lucas and Paula Moore; and his daughter Erika Lucas.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Chatwood (Brannon) of Tallahassee, FL, Lisa Morrison (Derrick) of Ashland, KY and Robert "Rob" Lucas of Ashland, KY; his siblings, Leslie Griffith of Ashland, KY, Jeri Lynn Clark (Steve) of Lexington, KY and David Lucas of Vanceburg, KY; and his significant other Mary Lucas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five nieces and two nephews.
