He was predeceased by: his father George Miller; and his sisters, Carolyn-Kay Lundy of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Barbara-Anne Pray of Houston, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Joan Thompson Miller of Vierra, Florida; his daughters, Sara Shorter (Collin) of Sydney and Rebecca Cook of Houston; his grandchildren, William and Molly Shorter of Sydney, Australia; his stepdaughter Dr. Julia Barker Paredes (Kevin Smith) of Suwanee, Georgia; his stepgranddaughter Savannah Paredes; and his sister-in-law Myra Thompson Robertson of WInchester, Kentucky.
