He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Connie Sorrell Burns; his children, Scott Burns (Michelle) of Ashland, KY and Shelley Taylor (Danny) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Tori Bellomy (Brandon), Courtney Hale, Hannah Burns, Michaela Roberts (Tristan), Ace Taylor and Evan Burns; his great grandchildren, Aiden Bellomy, Flynn Bellomy, Fletcher Bellomy, Brantley Caudill, Emery Ekers, Rory Roberts, Addison Williams and Easton; and his brother Michael Burns.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (2409 Center St, Catlettsburg, KY 41129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
