She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Estel McGuire and Alida Mae Hager; her spouse Carmel Willard Jackson; her sons, David A. and Robert "Bobby" Dean Jackson; her brothers, William E. McGuire and Thomas R.; her sons-in-law, Everett Tatman, Homer Bentley, David Howard and Gerald Dalton; her grandchildren, Beverly Tatman and Gerald D. Dalton, Jr.; and her great grandchild Catherine Llewellyn Tatman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carma Tatman, Ruth Bentley, Virginia Howard and Alida Dalton; and her grandchildren, Scott Tatman (Laura), Rita Morris (Paul), Beth Turner (Terry), Michelle Aylsworth (Michael), Jeri Lynn Horner (David), Angela Thompson (Matthew), Heather Bentley, Amanda Foster (Andrew), Richard Howard (Cynthia), David Howard (Reiko), Debi Howard and Christina Dalton-McArthur (Sarah). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and another great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hospice or Beech Street Christian Church.
