He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard Junior and Sandra E. Meadows Adkins; and his grandchild Madylyn Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Tonya Adkins; his children, Zach Adkins (Jaimie) of Ashland, Bobbie Jo Tyson (Gareth) of Flatwoods, Shawn Adkins (Tiffany) of Ashland and Sara Lester (Cameron) of Huntington, WV; his brother Steve Adkins of Ashland; his grandchildren, Lexi, Aubrey, Chelsea, Haizlee, Harm, Maverick, Silas and Malakai; and his pet Gigi.
