She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Newkirk and Mattie Salyers Newkirk Alderson; her husband Jack Ervin "Happy Jack" Chandler; her son Joseph Lynn Chandler; her siblings, Charles Newkirk (Wanda) and Bunnie Scott; and her brother-in-law Horace Cascio.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Chandler (Kelli) of Ashland and Deborah Smith of Ashland; her grandchildren, Ian Smith, Joshua Chandler and Angela Chandler; her sister Bertis Cascio of Olney, Maryland; and her brother-in-law Don Scott of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
