It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Whitehead Ford of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Lee Whitehead, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Larry Ford; her sons, LaJuan Wilkerson and Abdul Wilkerson; her stepsons, Landon Ford and Marcellous Harris; her mother Mary Margaret Whitehead; her siblings, Samuel Lee Whitehead, Jr., George Anthony "Tony" Whitehead (Kim), Curt Whitehead, Vincent Whitehead, Patrick Brand, Rose Marie Frye, Bonita Ford (Charles), Beverly Whitehead and Betty Whitehead; her grandchildren, LaDarious Wilkerson and Shakiia Wilkerson; her son Clarence Lee Wilkerson, Sr.; her birth mother Susie Beamon; and her brothers, Travis Lee Whitehead and DeWayne Brand. She is also survived by 11 other grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, adopted children, extended family members and dear friends.
