Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lewallen and Ruth Sexton Lewallen; her husband Herbert Lee O'Neal; and her siblings, Lewis Lewallen Jr., Stephen Lewallen, Jean Lewallen Rose and Thelma Lewallen Lambert.
She is survived by: her brother Earl Lewallen of Melbourne, Florida; and her pet Zoe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a wide circle of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (1901 Winchester Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
