He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Harris and Garnet Gipson Harris. He is survived by: his wife Rose Hale Harris; his children, Lucretia Allen, Regina Daniels and David Thomas; and his sisters, Iris Mays, Cathy Hill and Earlena Menshouse. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (3801 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102).
