It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonya Leigh Mayo Joseph of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Harold "Boots" Massie, Charles Edward Mayo, Sr. and Alva Fairchild Mayo. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Edward and Dianna Lynn Massie Mayo; her son Levi Patrick Joseph; her siblings, Jacqueline Mayo Ray (John) and Charles Tyler Mayo; her grandmother Essie Ray Massie; and her nieces, Hannah Ray Rowe (Garrett) and Grace Ann Ray.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Levi Joseph Benefit Fund at any Wesbanco location or mailed to Jacqueline Ray 4966 Newcomb Creek Rd. Huntington, WV. 25704.
