With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Wayne Childers (Ashland, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Douglas "Doug" Childers and Grace Marie Moore (Henry); his brother Todd Childers; his sister-in-law Angela Childers (Borders); his nieces, Sarah Albrecht (Devon), Emily Powell (Ian) and Shelby Cox (Cody); his sister Staci; his grandparents, Ralph, June Childers (Moore), James and Cathrine Darby (Bayless); his aunts, Nancy Waugh (Darby) and Sandra Childers (Dixon); and his uncle Sherman Henry. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
