She was predeceased by: her daughter Melissa; her brother-in-law Charles Hogsten; and her pet Dutchess. She is survived by: her parents, John Paul and Mary Fay Barney Newsome; her daughters, Jessica Jobe (Nathan) and Mary Elizabeth Phillips; her grandchildren, Jada Vincent and Tristian Jobe; her siblings, Vicki Hogsten of Ashland, Tina Gillum (Michael) of Catlettsburg and Greg Newsome (Lynn) of Rome; her nephews, Sean Hogsten, Cameron Gillum and Hunter Gillum; her great-nephews, Kendrick and Ryland Hogsten; and her close friend Pat Fuller. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
