He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Everett and Georgia Marie Smith (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith; his sons, Daniel Smith (Amanda) of Bowling Green and Thomas Smith (Aryon) of Lewisburg; his sister Theresa Grismore (John) of Bartlesville; and his grandchildren, Ella Burgess, Kyleigh Smith, Everett Smith and Ezra Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel (213 Spring St, Auburn, KY 42206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Auburn Cemetery.
In lieu of Flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
