He is survived by : his parents, Sue "Sissy" and Harold "Jake" Towe; his daughter Aleigha Shay VanCleave of Auburn; his siblings, Bruce Douglas Johns, Justin Lee Towe, Amber Gregory and Heather Starneter; and his close friend Kimberly Haley.
