She was predeceased by : her husband James Meade; her parents, Charles Hamilton and Ethel Elliott Hamilton; her daughter Anna Sue Meade; and her brother Charles Hamilton.

She is survived by : her daughters, Joetta Dugan of Crothersville, IN and Anita Branham of Auburn, KY; her grandson James Maxie (Stacy); and her great grandchildren, Darren James Maxie, Kamren Dane Maxie and Tyler Comer.
