She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Scarbrough and Melvina Scarbrough (Porter); and her siblings, Earl Scarbrough, Morris Scarbrough, Jimmy Scarbrough, Donna Sue Scarbrough, Joy Downey and Jean Fagg.

She is survived by : her husband Elmer Hines; her children, Phillip Hines (Jennifer) of Russellville and Shelly Burton (Shannon) of Auburn; and her siblings, Dorris Scarbrough of Auburn and Barbara Blackford of Auburn. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
