He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Watkins and Mary Watkins; and his brothers, Maurice Watkins and Paul Kenneth Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Watkins of Auburn, KY; his children, Keith Watkins (Rikki) of Franklin, KY, Michael Watkins (Kassandra) of Auburn, KY, Richard Nelson Watkins of Auburn, KY and Lindsey Tapp (Willie) of Stantinville, TN.; and his sister Martha Jane French (Sixteen) of Tampa, FL.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (115 Lincoln St, Auburn, KY 42206). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
