He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hays Ellis and Sarah Ann Long Ellis; and his wife Jacquelyn Clark Ellis. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Morgan Ellis (Nevin Dawson); his grandson Ari Ellis Dawson; his sisters, Nancy Ellis Chilton (Ira) and Anna Sue Heller (Craig); and his pet Bebe.
