He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie Dale Gillespie of Augusta and Susie Duncan (Jackson) of Foster; his daughter Leah Renee Gillespie of Cambridge, OH; his brothers, Ronnie Dale Gillespie (Christie Gordley) and Dustin Ray Gillespie (Danielle Jefferson); and his grandmother Donna Gillespie of Augusta. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Cemetery (2853 Asbury Rd, Augusta, KY 41002).
