He was predeceased by : his parents, James Archibald and Virginia Groves (Bruist); his brother Larry Archibald; his nephew Larry Thomas Archibald; his grandfather Garrett Lee Owens; and his pet Tubby.
He is survived by : his stepfather Clyde Groves; his son Jamie Archibald of Augusta, KY; his grandson Tyler Archibald (Carlee) of Brooksville, KY; his sister Kathy Pickrell (Bobby) of Augusta, KY; his sister-in-law Susanne Thornsbury (Fred) of Augusta, KY; his nieces and nephews, Troy Archibald (Erica), Justin Pickrell (Tiffany), Nathan Pickrell (Rachel), Luke Thornsbury (Bridgett), Sarah Caudill (Kent) and Renee McClanahan (Kevin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase Archibald, Mason McClanahan, Carter McClanahan, Braylon McClanahan, Dylan Archibald, Kailey Kelsch (Todd), Nicole Archibald, Keirsten Archibald, Kinsley McClanahan, Shelby Pickrell and Olivia Walton.
