He is survived by: his wife Breneda Merchant of Bagdad; his son Glenn Howerton (Laurie) of China Grove; his sister Kate Merchant (Lisa) of New Albany, Indiana; his granddaughters, Gracie Howerton and Haley Sifford (Cole); his great grandchild Mallory; his nephew Eric Armstrong; his niece Amy Kreier (Scott); and his pet Lily Mae.
