She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Martin and Stella Mooneyham Martin; her husband Kenneth Valentine; her daughter Charlotte Ann Valentine; and her siblings, Earl Thomas Martin, Wanda Jones (Buddy), Jean Sowders (Harry), Naomi Farris and Glenda Hurst.

She is survived by: her children, Kenny R. Valentine (Carolyn) and Deborah J. Hammons (Lyle); her grandsons, Jerry Christopher Mills (Karen), Jeffrey Todd Valentine (Whitney) and Matthew Dale Mills (Donna); her great grandchildren, Jacob Tyler Mills, Kaitlyn Renee Mills, Tabor Jacob Valentine, Trevor Joseph Valentine, Halle Brook Mills, Jackson Ryan Mills and Taylor Elizabeth Valentine; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Farris and Cecil Hurst. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hopper Funeral Home (302 N Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Doolin Cemetery.
