With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Axie Brown of Barbourville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2025 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Jordan and Edna Jordan; and her siblings, Charles Jordan, Irma Jewell Messer and Nettie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband David Brown; her sons, Charles Brown (Caitlin) of Barbourville and David Dewayne Brown (Morgan) of Barbourville; her grandchildren, Kerigan, Bishop and Matthew Cade; and her siblings, Billy Ray Jordan (Joyce) of Girdler, Orlon Jordan (Karen) of Ohio, Tom Jordan (Darlene) of Ohio, Anderson Jordan (Jacqueline), Kenny Bailey of Flat Lick and June Vanhook of Florida. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
