He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Harp and Ida Mae Walters Harp; his daughter Kimberlynn Renee Harp; his siblings, Dorothy Phillips, Marie Paris and Bob Harp; and his sisters-in-law, Deena and Kathy.

He is survived by: his wife Cora Lee Harp of Barbourville; his son Steven Ray Harp (Shirlee) of Georgetown, TX; and his siblings, Beverly Torkelson (Merland) of Sioux Falls, SD, Norman Harp of Wauseon, OH and Tom Harp of Liberty Center, OH.
