Geraldine left this world on November 16, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Partin and Jemima Bays Partin; her close friend Cecil "Pete" Smith; her children, Sharon Fisher, Jacqueline Doane and Bobby Hubbard; and her siblings, Anna D. Partin, Cleo Partin, Jean Helen Partin and Vernon Partin.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Mills (Charles West) of Barbourville, Tammy Leighton of Myrtle Beach, SC and Robert Hembree of Louisville; her caregivers, Jessica Hubbard (Ashley) of Corbin and Leah Messer (Shane) of Knox County; her son-in-law Ronnie Mills of Barbourville; and her sister Misty Mills of Barbourville. She is also survived by grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
