She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Elliott and Nadine Goodin Elliott; her husband Delbert Smith; her siblings, Shirley Payne, Jessie Elliott, William James and Lonnie Elliott; and her brother-in-law Gilbert Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Dale Smith of Barbourville and Donna Smith (Dustin Couch) of Corbin; her sister Darlene Smith of Jarvis; her sisters-in-law, Doris Elliott of Cannon, Nadine Elliott of Barbourville and Veronica Patterson of Corbin; and her grandchildren, Devin Wagers (Hope), Timothy Cole Smith and Dalbert Dale Lee Smith.
