He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel Campbell and Cora Lyttle Campbell; his wife Sylvia Peigon; his siblings, Clarence Campbell (Betty Jo Campbell), Donald Campbell (Barbara Jean Campbell) and Geneva Welch (Gary Welch); and his brother-in-law Ralph Moffett.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Jewell Brantley, Carolyn Ramsey (Larry) and Linda Kay Moffett; his great-niece Dani Patterson; and his great-nephews, Ryan Chase Patterson, Alex Hubbard, Aden Hubbard and Ashton Hubbard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hopper Funeral Home (302 N Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel (302 N Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906). A burial was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
