He was predeceased by : his father John Van De Mark; his wife Wanda E. Van De (Hetzler); his grandparents, Momo, Popo and Edith Van De Mark; his sister Gloria; and his great grandchild Scarlet.

He is survived by : his stepfather Arthur Christie; his children, Sherry Workman (Tony) of Barbourville, KY and Arthur Van De (Lisa); his grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin Stokes (Brittney), Teyana, Devin, Collin Van De (Kayla), Cody Van De (Casey) and Crystal Sparks Miller; his great grandchildren, J. T., Jayden, Willow, Oakley, Jaylynn and Lura; his siblings, Jeff, Gail, Leslie, Linda, John Jr. and Charles; and his pet Zoey.
