She was predeceased by: her parents, Corbin Payne and Eva Robbins Payne; her husband Charles Coffey; her siblings, Bernice Farris and Jervis Payne; her granddaughter Amy Baker; and her son-in-law David Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Evans of Barbourville and Chuck Coffey (Pam) of Cumberland Gap, TN; her siblings, Lucy Collinsworth of Barbourville and John Payne of Louisville; her cousin Robert Payne; her grandchildren, Charlotte Baker Parish, Cristian Coffey, Tristan Evans, Levi Coffey, Brie Kerr and Jordan Evans (Kayla); her great grandchild Skye Baker Bass; her great great grandchildren, Lincoln Bass and Ellie Gray Evans; and her close friends, Sherry Moore, Gerry Scalf, Shirley Martin, Sally Lundy and Ruby Ramey.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
