With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alex Jackson of Bardstown, Kentucky, born in Coxs Creek, Kentucky, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alex may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Jackson and Alice Jackson; his sister Barbara Sisco; and his great grandchild Trent Langley. He is survived by: his children, Connie Mattingly and Gerry Jackson (Glenda); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Langley (Brent), Jamie Mattingly of Bardstown, Scott Jackson (Tammy) of Bardstown and Gary Jackson (Amie) of Lexington.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
