He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert "Bummie" Smith and Joyce Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Smith of Bardstown; his children, Natalie Smith of Cox's Creek, Lance Smith (Jill Edelen) of Bardstown and Nicholas Smith (Margaret) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Rawlings, Liza Ann, Palmer and Crit; and his sister Lisa Smith Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
