Bonnie Mae Shawler Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 89, Bonnie Mae Shawler of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Miller "A. M." and Louise Barnett Parrott; her former husbands, Billy Joe McMichael and Ralph Chowning; and her husband Milford "Mel" Shawler.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Goodlett (Darrell) of Bardstown and Terry McMichael (Angie) of Cynthiana; her stepdaughters, Celeste Shawler (Phillip) of Wilmore, Cay Shawler (Jerry) of Danville and Connie Shawler (Henry) of Hodgenville; and her sister Pam Howell. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Nelson County Baptist School.
