She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Brady and Cora Brady; her husband Thomas Jerome Spalding; her daughter Patricia Rose Stevenson; and her siblings, Wilber, Cloyd, Phillip Brady, Cordie Smith, Mary Catherine Medley, Theresa Shaw and Lottie Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Wheatley (Carla), Janice Carroll (Ed) of Louisville, Dennis Wheatley (Helena) of Bardstown, Michael Wheatley (Mary Ellen) of Bardstown and Rodney Wheatley of Bardstown. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
