He is survived by: his wife Lucy Mae Fortson Stamper of Bardstown; his daughters, Jessica Stamper of Bardstown and Heather Mishio (Christopher) of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Michael Dylan (Jessica U.), Hannah Grace (Jacob), Cody Thomas and Braxton Augustus; and his siblings, Marvin, Larry (Darla), Delois (Michael), Ruth (Bill) and Blanche. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Stamper Cemetery at Citizen's Bank.
