She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Polley and Christine Boblitt Polley; her husband Franklin Hibbs, Jr.; her son Franklin, III; and her nephew John Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Gilkerson (Ron) of Nicholasville and Stephen Hibbs (Kim Wheatley) of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Adam McKay, Stephen Hibbs, Jr. (Megan), Johnathan Hibbs (Anna), Franklin Hibbs, IV (Alexandra), Isaac, Julie Kirkpatrick (Brad), Grant Gilkerson (Jenny) and Aidan Wheatley; her sister Marie Taylor (Gehrig); her nieces, Debra Tee (Mike) and Dana Skaggs (Buzz); and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Miller, Harper Hibbs, Ryder Hibbs, Remy Hibbs, Izzy Hibbs, Harrison Hibbs, Margot Hibbs, Taylor Carney, Elijah Jones, Lily Dixon, Logan Kirkpatrick, Sophie, Ben, Anna and Emma Gilkerson. She is also survived by in-laws and great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral (310 W Stephen Foster Ave, Bardstown, KY 40004).
Donations in memory may be made to the Bardstown Foundation for Excellence in Public Education, Bardstown United Methodist Church, and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Missions programs.
