We are sad to announce that, on April 3, 2026, at the age of 82, Donald Lewis Sorrell of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvia Sorrell and Beulah Combs Sorrell; his wife Diane Sorrell; and his brother Keith Sorrell. He is survived by: his sons, Deron Sorrell (Dana) of Bardstown, Dwayne Sorrell (Aleeta) of Louisville and Derek Sorrell (Katrina) of Bardstown; and his siblings, Barbara Sorrell of Bardstown, Martha Walker (Juan) of Louisville, Christy Pepper (Sam) of Hodgenville and Larry Sorrell (Sharen) of Louisville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
