With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donzie Wilcher Jr. of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Wilcher; his son Richard Wilcher; his parents, Donzie Wilcher Sr. and Ruby May Shipp Wilcher; and his siblings, Lawrence Wilcher, Myrtle Buckman, Bonnie Johnson, Ruth Ann Buckman, Thomas Wilcher, Rita Wise, Carl Wilcher, Mitchell Dean Wilcher and Jannett Kays.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Wilcher and Mark Wilcher (Dawn); his daughter-in-law Susan Wilcher; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wilcher (Lyndsey) and April Ward (Todd); his great grandchildren, Noah Ward, Ethan Ward, Emily Ward and Ciara Wilcher; and his siblings, Mary Helen Newcome, Virginia Moore, Louise Wright, Randall Wilcher and James Wilcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
