In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Igo; his son Kenny Smith; and his siblings, Butch Lambert, Charlotte Westcott and Carol Childress.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Smith Lambert; his children, Tony Lambert (Brandi Reece), Jerry Smith (Anita), Andy Smith (Sandy), Trish Spalding (Scott) and Carrie Hayden (Alan); and his brother Donnie Lambert. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
