He was predeceased by: his son James O'Bryan (Jim); his mother Ruby O'Bryan; and his brother Paul O'Bryan. He is survived by: his father Charles A. O'Bryan; his siblings, Charles O'Bryan (Jo Kaye), Joseph O'Bryan, Lucy Greenwell and Marietta Rutledge (Frank); and his children, Kelly O'Bryan and Brooke Smoak.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (104 Church Street (New Hope), New Hope, KY 40052). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037).
