He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earnest Wilkerson and Mary Gondola Porter Wilkerson; and his siblings, Earnest "Pat" Wilkerson and Mary Elizabeth Prather. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Downs Wilkerson; his sons, William Edward Wilkerson (Betsy) of Georgetown, KY, Jason Monroe Wilkerson (Connie) of Louisville and Thomas Anthony Wilkerson (April) of Berea, KY; and his siblings, Susan Connell (Brad) of Louisville, Ralph Wilkerson (Mary Francis) of Springfield, Henry Allen Wilkerson (Wanda) of Bardstown and Harold E. Wilkerson (Ann) of Cox's Creek.
