She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah "Tubby" Hayden and Margaret Geoghegan Hayden; her husband Charlie Houck; her daughter Debbie Houck; and her sister Julia Ann Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Freda Houck of Louisville, Jayne Bartley (Todd) of Springfield, Wayne Houck of New Jersey and Scott Cox (Deanna) of Louisville; and her siblings, Neasy Miller of California, Estelle "Tootsie" Hayden of Bardstown, James "Jimmy" Hayden (Jenny) of Bardstown and Henry Hayden (Jean) of Bardstown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the American Heart Association.
