She was predeceased by: her husband William "Sonny" Sweazy; her parents, Orene Burgin and Ernon Burgin; and her brother Darrell Burgin. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Kuykendall (Tony) of Bardstown, Sunny Sweazy of Bardstown, Randy Sweazy of Bardstown and Kim McCoy (Paul) of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Chris Kuykendall (Amanda), David Sweazy (Angela), Amanda Vance (Shawn), Andrew Sweazy (Rachel), Brandon Sweazy, Matthew McCoy and Challen McCoy; and her caregivers, Whitney Mattingly and Janet Brown. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
