He was predeceased by: his son James Patrick "Jamo" Roby II; his parents, Marvin Roby and Mary Louise Roby; and his brother Charles Hagan Roby. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte L. Roby; his children, Regina L. Roby (Bill Ryan), Deanna Roby Ball (Brent) and Shane Roby (Carrie); his grandchildren, Dakota Roby (Hope), Jayke Ball, Layla Ball, Adelina Roby, Isla Roby and Everly Roby; his great grandchildren, Saylor Roby and Paxton Roby; and his siblings, Mary Rita Cecil, Joe Marvin Roby, Margaret Jane Hicks and Tony Roby (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
