He was predeceased by : his former life partner Juanita "June" Parrott; his wife Ethel Harrell Parrott; his daughter Shelly Parrott Arnold; his parents, James Parrott and Lillie Parrott; and his siblings, Elmer "Jake" Parrott and Zelma "Toolie" Cecil.

He is survived by : his close friend Juanita Collins Parrott; his granddaughter April Marie Arnold Cortez; his great grandchildren, Clayton Arnold and BrooklynArabella Arnold; and his son-in-law Rick Arnold of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
