She was predeceased by: her husband Herman "Pete" Tingle; her son Timothy "Tim" Tingle; her parents, William Greissel and Arva Greissel; her sisters, Norma Muller (John), Doris Greissel and Melva Stevens (Phil); and her siblings-in-law, Willis Ray "Bootsie" and Hilda Tingle.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Greta Rhoades (Don), Corinne Cash (Joe), Sally Tingle, Leanne Allen (James), Joe Muller (Paulette) and Billy Stevens (Marie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral (310 W Stephen Foster Ave, Bardstown, KY 40004).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus Health (6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205), the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, or the Abbey of Gethsemani Monastery.
