With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenny Carey of Bardstown, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kenny left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Dorothy Mae Hagan Carey; his brother Pat Carey; and his brother-in-law Edgar Waldridge. He is survived by: his son Ken Carey (Leslie); his grandchildren, Waylon of Loretto, Breaunna of Loretto and Layla of Loretto; and his siblings, Maryann Waldridge, Donna May Snellen (Jim), Joyce Wallingford (Doug), Nora Carey and Louis Danny Carey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004).
Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Kosair Children's Hospital.
